Remy (or, if you're feeling formal, Mx. Green) has argued and briefed cases before courts at every level, ranging from New York Small Claims Court to the Federal Courts of Appeal, the United States Supreme Court, and State high courts. Their legal scholarship has appeared in the Cambridge Handbook, Columbia Human Rights Law Review, Syracuse Law Review, North Carolina Journal of Law and Technology, and the Rutgers Law Record, and they have published a full length book as well as quite a few essays in various other fora.
Remy's litigation record speaks for itself. They led the team that obtained nationwide relief stopping the deliberate slowdown of mail and destruction of sorting machines when the administration attempted to thwart the right to vote by mail in 2020. They were among the leads in the landmark George Floyd protest litigation, obtaining a landmark consent decree as well as a record-setting class settlement. They argued an injunction that stopped then-governor Cuomo from canceling an election, then defended it on appeal. And they have achieved countless settlements, judgments, injunctions, and other positive outcomes for clients, stopping frivolous SLAPP litigation in its tracks, getting compensation for serious injuries, and protecting vital rights.
Remy also bounces around as a guest lecturer and adjunct professor, having made stops at Boston University School of Law, NYU, and various schools in the CUNY system, where they teach courses that address issues of civil and constitutional rights.
