Leena Widdi

Leena is of-Counsel to Cohen&Green. Prior to joining the firm in 2024, Leena worked at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender's Juvenile Defense Practice and the Bronx Defenders Family Defense Practice. Leena's practice includes criminal defense, civil rights litigation, and movement defense work.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Leena is a proud child of Palestinian immigrants. She is guided by the Palestinian struggle in her commitment to advocating for the right of all people to live with dignity.

Leena is admitted to the Bar in New York State, Maryland, and the Eastern District of New York.

Leena is a long time community organizer, an aspiring oud player, and a recent Crossfit enthusiast.
